I have always enjoyed watching the beautiful and dynamic sport of figure skating. In 2004 I began an Off Ice Dance program at the Ice House in Hackensack NJ. I have specifically geared this dance program for the competitive figure skater focusing on Ballet, Pilates Mat, and Stretch classes. Students enrolled in this program receive one-on-one attention in a positive and structured setting.

Program Goals:
- Increase flexibility and range of motion.
- Strengthen core muscles, improving posture and balance.
- Improve musical expression and sense of performance.
Ballet: Classical Ballet training is essential to performing choreography with artistic integrity. Ballet training increases muscle tone, flexibility, improves posture and grace of movement.
Pilates Mat: Pilates is a unique exercise system focused on flexibility and strength of the entire body. By developing core muscles, Pilates corrects poor posture and lowers risk of injury.
Stretch: This class combines elements from dance and yoga for a head to toe flexibility session. Students will learn to apply these skills to their program elements such as spiral and spin positions.
